Dating safely

1. Meeting someone new

• Meet in a public place.
• Tell a friend where you are going and who you are meeting.
• Arrange your own transport, there and back.
• Never send money, and never share OTPs, bank or card details.

2. What a Verified badge means

A “Verified” badge means only that our team manually checked, at one point in time, that a selfie submitted by the member matched their profile photographs. It does not confirm their identity documents, age, marital status, intentions, or character.

We do not conduct criminal background checks or screen members' histories. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, on and off the Platform.

3. Reporting and blocking

You can report a profile using the flag icon on a profile card, and report any other issue through Settings → Safety Centre → Report a Problem.

When a profile is reported by several different users, it is automatically suspended on an escalating basis: first a 7-day suspension (which lifts only once the account completes verification), then a 30-day suspension, then a permanent ban. We may also warn, restrict, suspend, or ban any account, or remove any content, after our own review.

4. Community guidelines

These rules are taken from section 3 of our Terms of Use.

You must not host, display, upload, publish, transmit, store, or share any information (in your profile, photos, messages, voice notes, gifts, or reports) that:

• belongs to another person and to which you have no right;
• is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, racially or ethnically objectionable, relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or promotes enmity between groups on the grounds of religion, caste, or otherwise;
• is harmful to children, or depicts or involves anyone under the age of 18 in any sexual context;
• infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary right;
• deceives or misleads the recipient about the origin of the message, or knowingly and intentionally communicates information that is patently false, untrue, or misleading;
• impersonates another person, or is a synthetic, AI-generated, or manipulated ("deepfake") image, video, or voice of a real person;
• threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or incites the commission of any offence;
• contains software viruses or any other computer code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer resource;
• violates any law in force in India.

In addition, you must not:

• harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, blackmail, or abuse any person, on or off the Platform;
• send sexually explicit content or unsolicited intimate images to anyone;
• record, screenshot, save, or share another user's photos, messages, voice notes, or personal information outside the Platform without their consent — including "view once" or timed photos;
• ask any user for money, loans, investments, cryptocurrency, gifts outside the Platform, or banking or OTP details, or promote any scheme, business, or service;
• engage in or facilitate prostitution, escort services, sex trafficking, or any commercial sexual activity;
• misrepresent your identity, age, gender, marital or relationship status, or profession — including selecting a gender that is not yours to avoid paying for features;
• discriminate against anyone on the basis of religion, caste, race, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or place of birth;
• scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access or extract data from the Platform, or reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with its security or access controls;
• use the Platform for any commercial or promotional purpose without our prior written consent.
